In The Wilderness

Stephanie and I decided to go for a walk at a regional park close to our home. This park is a large wilderness preserve with many trails winding their way through it. We have walked it a number of times, and take the same loop every time go, this time we decided to take a different trail. We walked and walked and walked, and finally came on to a map on the trail, you know the kind that has an arrow that says "You Are Here". We looked at the map and said lets go this way.

Well we walked and walked and walked. I kept telling Steph that we were going in the wrong direction. Finally I could hear cars going by, and figured out where we were. We bush-wacked it to the road and had to walk over a mile back to the car.

Hey, how are you guys! I found your blog through Hans' blog. That forest you're walking through looks beautiful! We love going up the canyon and being around the beautiful trees and Madi loves throwing rocks into the stream.. I hope you and Boyd are doing well. Tell him hello for me! Have a great day.
